Strategic development

The Chamber of Commerce works to develop the business climate. Any business needs communications, competence and clients to work. We run and take part in projects within the fields of infrastructure, education and research and market networks to develop the long term opportunities of our members.

Infrastructure

High on our agenda is getting the politicians and legislators to commit to investment in our vital  infrastructure. We have a proud history of doing so and will continue to highlight where investment can be utilised most effectively.

Education

We are also committed to the educational development of young people and run a number of programmes and projects designed to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work. Within the project Trampolinen we are working in partnership with schools and member companies. The aim is to improve the employability skills and interaction amongst our future generation of employees and businesses. It is also a way to promote better understanding between employers and young people so that both groups benefit. We are also involved in a language olympiad and maths competitions in order to encourage young people to further studies.
